| I got ahead of myself and read "Newbie in search of girlfriend" ... ok, I'm hallucinating. Another vote for freshadama, hands down. I started with those and never looked back, and you'd be hardpressed to find someone as picky as I am. Any of the gem lines from the vendors here would be fabulous. If you like graduated TPO has some gemfresh, which is a look simulating the natural pearls of tradition.
Akoyas are great, shiny and all, but if you want something to last and mean something, I'd go all nacre freshwater. I would probably still opt for Akoyas for my wedding if I ever got married though.
