Hi jerin! Honestly, I never once considered seed pearls or other gemstones. I knew it would be some kind of solitaire from the start, but I was always looking for how to keep the pearl safe knowing I knock my little solitaires off their posts.
When Ashley showed me that setting, it was an instantaneous reaction! I knew it was perfect for *my pearl* Nestled down in there, yet so much of it would be visible.
Now I am back where I was when I first posted... afraid I will not find my pearl!
Re: the orient comments
there was a LOT of orient and luster. They were amazing pearls. One pearl was nice and silver but way too small. One was too lavender, one was too pink ... opening the little cases, each one made me say Wow! but for a completely different reason. I'm not giving up on orient Caitlin, I'll know my pearl when I see it!
I am just getting nervous over time now. It's only a month away!
