With knots between the pearls, they should string up to 18" with a clasp. Since they don't match perfectly, you could use mystery clasps so you can take them apart and wear them seperately at times. You could then put a couple of bracelets in one of the necklaces and give yourself even more options. Here's an example of what I'm talking about
