Now, about spacers. The corrugated ones seem a little harsh against the delicate color of the pearls...(my humble opinion, of course). I think I would prefer the daisy spacers. Are they for you or for sale? If for you, don't worry about the gf. Otherwise, maybe you can order some in 14k. (Try CGM...)
In terms of spacers and safety, Care Ehret uses them all the time with Cortez pearls and other exotic things and doesn't appear to worry about damage. Also, fine jewelry stores sell pearls with diamond rondelle spacers regularly. For these reasons, I use spacers myself without fear. However, make sure you file down any rough edges. |
