I just want to say that subjects like this really give a great dimension to this forum. Even if you come over here to show off your strands (nothing wrong with that!) you end up getting into all kinds of other subjects you never even thought of before coming over here.

Pearls have an incredible number of dimensions; you can spend a lifetime delving and grazing and still not cover, let alone know, everything.

I can't tell you how much it means to me to have been able to focus in on my passion for pearls at my age (66). It gives my life zest, excitement, mystery, glamour, depth, color, breadth, drama, intellectual challenges, friendships, and a lot more. I'd better quit before I get soppy........

I mean, some of the things I read here, if implemented, would change the world. Pearls need healthy water. They are a built in positive reinforcement or reward for shepherding healthy water.......
