| Funny! Did she mention if the clasp was marked for gold or sterling? The stones look kind of like rhinestones to me. But it's tough to tell from the photo. My guess is it's costume jewelry but I'm sure someone else here will have a better idea.
One more thing. There are no knots between the pearls. Most pearls are knotted between them to protect them from rubbing together.
