Thank you. Yes, it's a few weeks, yet. I'm enjoying the 8 mm earrings; they have a luxurious weight on the ear and the appearance superceded my expectations. The new location is more easily accessible, and I'm looking forward to the next time I get to come and play.

I realized I hadn't really reviewed the earrings yet:
Earrings were really what I prompted my visit, as I needed to replace my 6.5 akoya pair which I felt were too small for me, getting on in years as I am , and they are somewhat worn out from several years of frequent use.

They are 8mm AAA freshwater. I chose round because I believe people will see the side-view in close proximity (think elevators.) I really see no reason for anyone to buy akoya earrings. Just one on the ear, separated by a head, does not have the same blingage as a necklace. They are very round and very clean, and I think if I had an akoya in one ear and a fwp in the other, I would not be able to identify them.

There is some droop before I put the earring-back in, so I think for 9mm and up, button studs or leverbacks would be the way to go.
